This year, classes 4 and 6 will be working together on Shakespeare's Macbeth. This will lead to a performance by some pupils at King James I Academy in March next year.

Since last week, we have been working hard on creating an ensemble and looking carefully at the beginning of the play which includes a battle, witches and the murder of a king! Children have also been learning about beliefs at the time the play was written and this is beginning to have an impact on their performances.

We will also be taking part in the RSC's Playmaking Festival, where two children from Hunwick Primary School will be selected to perform in Stratford in July.
