On Wednesday 4th October Oak football team took part in a series of league games at Parkside school. The first game of the evening against Willington was very tense with Matthew saving an early attempt on target. The teams fought neck a neck until the dying seconds when the opposition found the back of the net.
A foul by Our Lady in the box in the second game led to a penalty. Teddy struck the ball and successfully scored.
Feeling more confident, the team played the final game of the evening against St Stephen's. There were several attempts on target with successful goals from Teddy and Oliver. In the last minute of the game, Esmee crossed the ball to her brother who narrowly missed the net.
Mrs Oliver was extremely proud of you all for your teamwork, attitude and skills on the football field.
