Wraparound Care

Hunwick Primary’s Wraparound Care is open to children from Nursery to Year 6. It offers breakfast club from 7.45am to 8.45am and afterschool childcare from end of school to 5.30pm. Sessions are held in the Wraparound Room and access is via the outer door onto the school field.

Management of Wraparound Care

Overall responsibility of Hunwick Primary School is held by the Head Teacher. The day to day management and organisation of Hunwick Primary Wraparound Care is carried out by Education Enterprise.  Regular communication between all school staff takes place to ensure the best care is provided for the children attending Wraparound Care. 

Hunwick Primary School’s Wraparound Care adopts all the policies of Hunwick Primary School including Safeguarding, Health & Safety, Special Educational Needs, Equality Duty and Behaviour. Copies of these policies are available on request and if parents have any queries or concerns they should contact the school. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: The charges for Wraparound Care are as follows:

7.45am to 8.45am – £4.00

3.15pm to 4.15pm – £4.00

4.15pm to 5.30pm – £4.50

Snack are not provided and children are encouraged to bring in a healthy snack and drink.

If you are late and collect your child after 5.30pm, a late collection fee of £5.00 will be charged in addition to the fees stated above.

Bookings and payments are to be made via Arbor. Please ensure bookings are made in advance as there is a limit on the number of children we can accommodate in each session.
